1/Djibouti has been visited by the Independent Expert on the situations of human rights in Somalia (2011) and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Eritrea (2013). However, it has not accepted any visit from mandate holders intending to assess its internal human rights situation.

2/Eritrea extended an invitation to the Special Rapporteur on the right to education and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health in 2016.

3/ The Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants visited offshore detention centres in Nauru during his country visit to Australia from 1 to 18 November 2016
